All transport is within easy access, bus and railway stations are an easy walk, Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is a 10 minute drive. Perfectly placed for a day trip Glasgow, Edinburgh and other major cities and easy rail and ferry links to visit our wonderful west coast islands.
The hotel is an interesting building dating back to 1830s, but whilst the building is old we have very up to date ideas on hospitality and first class service is top of our menu. There are many reasons to visit Ayr, the Arrandale Hotel is just one of them.
The welcome in itself was great the lady that runs it was lovely. The beach is two minutes away.
The breakfast was great! The room was spotless and cosy. I loved it.
Linda the owner was very friendly and welcoming. She recommended some restaurants to dine at. Also went out of her way to bring my sisters and I an extra heater for our room.

We were welcomed by very friendly staff. The hotel is clean and comfortable and close to both the seafront and the town centre. The street parking operates between 8am and 6pm, but you have three hours free parking in the street. So arriving at 4pm and leaving at 10am the following day meant that the street parking was adequate for our stay
