Welcome to the website for the Arrandale Hotel in Ayr from the resident owners Iain and Linda Eadie. For several years the Arrandale has gained a fine reputation as a golfers hotel and with Ayrshire extending a special welcome to visitors from around the world for the British Open Golf Championship 2009 at Turnberry, we are aiming to make your stay for the “big event” a memorable one. We are ideally situated a two minute walk from the beach and 3 minute walk from the start of town centre in a quiet residential area in the oldest part of town. A twenty minute drive gets you to Turnberry or transport can be arranged to get you there.
Packages for the golf week will be for a minimum 7 night stay – from Monday 13th July until Monday 20th July 2009, so you won’t miss a minute of the action. Prices vary for our smart en suite accommodation with “the full Scottish Breakfast” being served in our stylish dining room and end of your golfing day can be enjoyed in our sitting room, relaxing with a malt whisky from our huge selection.
Golf can also be arranged through the hotel (we don’t charge for arranging your trip) and we can arrange the tee times, transport, dining options and in fact the whole agenda so that your break can be dedicated to relaxing and enjoyment, with hopefully a bit of sunshine at no extra charge. . Golf Enthusiasts
Whilst golf is part of our business we do have many “non golfing” visitors to the Arrandale and we like to take care of each and every guest to our hotel whatever their reason for the visit. Ayr has lots to offer and we aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you are on a visit to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, we can pre book dinners at our best restaurants (Ayr has many) you can have our special package breaks and enjoy a bottle of your choice and/or chocolates/fruit/flowers in your room to surprise a loved one. Basically, phone Linda beforehand to discuss any special requests you may have, or any local knowledge you may require.
